Chlorophyll

Chlorophyll is a showcase about how the natural world is being encased in our artificial world.
Dried leaves are sandwiched between poly ethylene terepthalate. It can be injection molded as there are no undercuts.Easily manafacturable.
Water is precious. So is nature and life.Every time we drink water it serves as a reminder of the symbiotic relationship of nature and water together. The water level is also seen through the leaves. Soft translucency of leaves and high reflection of the PET together captivate and engage our attention. The handles are inset. There is a small groove so fingers can slip in easily.
Handles pivot around to give double grip support while serving.

Project :: GOD lies in the DETAILS

Project :: GOD LIES IN THE DETAILS
>>Religion is the fabric of Asian Life , be it Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism or Islam.
>> These concepts aim at having religious symbols embedded in the form so that there is a subliminal religious and cultural association.
This Project is open to interpretation . Products like these could be great for cultural unification of a country OR it could increase the religious divide.
In a way it is very controversial. But that is the aim. What role does religion have in todays fragmented society. Is it contributing to unnecessary dogma and intolerant doctrines or is it unifying people under a common umbrella of humanity.

Logo no

A small take on branding. The thought behind it was to Literally look through a brand. Designers create Brands .For better or worse , we do not know . Wearing this we let brands govern our vision and thus TRUTH. The concept is of fashion sunglasses which have your most admired brand as an inset in the glass. Look through them .It's up to us as to the statement we are trying to make. Do we control brands or is our entire life being consumed by them.
